This textual analysis of nearly 300 articles analyzes newspaper narratives of the stay-at-home dad. In the project I explore how the domestic male body and mind get situated as similar to and different than mothers and working fathers. Additionally, this project explores how reporters integrate themes of employment, income, and the economy into their portrayals of the stay-at-home dad.
