Winter 2008 Commencement

The Commencement will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 and will take place at the Assembly Hall. Detailed information regarding the Commencement will be mailed around mid October by the Alumni Association.

All students who plan to participate in the ceremony and will be receiving a University Graduate School Degree (either a Masters or Doctoral) for the months of September through December 2008, must complete the application pertaining to their degree. Masters degree candidates must complete the Application for Advanced Degree form and the Doctoral degree candidates must complete the Ph.D. Commencement Participation Application form. The applications are available from Kathy, or you may pick up an application in The University Graduate School located in Kirkwood Hall 111. Masters degree candidates must submit their applications to Matthew Boots, Assistant Recorder; and Doctoral degree candidates must submit their applications to Dana Ruddick, Graduate Recorder. Applications may be sent by mail to: The University Graduate School, 130 South Woodlawn Avenue, Kirkwood Hall 111, Indiana University, Bloomington, IN 47405, in person, or by fax to The University Graduate School at 812/855-4266.

Commencement applications must be received by October 1, any applications received after October 10 may not be listed in the Commencement Program and may not receive the Commencement mailing from the Alumni Office. Candidates who submit their applications after October 10 may contact the Alumni Office at 812/855-4664 for information regarding the time, line-up, etc. Candidates may also visit the Indiana University Ceremonies web site at http://www.commencementiu.edu.

The I.U. Bookstore will be hosting the Winter Grad Fair on Wednesday and Thursday, October
