After a ringing endorsement by President McRobbie, the Board of Trustees today approved the plans for a state-of-the-art University Cinema, equipped to project all formats from 16 and 35mm to the highest end digital. Thanks to CMCL Professor Emeritus Jim Naremore, who has chaired the advisory committee and who today spoke eloquently to the Board about the importance of this project, the renovations are now slated to begin early in 2009 and be completed by May 2010.
